It would appear that Ford has no qualms about spending other people's money for his own partisan purposes. Case in point, the most current Ford anti-carbon tax crusade. In stead of paying for advertising that tells the whole story, Ford has chosen to only tell the Tory side. There is nothing in the advertisement that tells about the rebates, about how people are expected to get more back in refunds that what they spend. Then there is the cost for the court case, another waste of taxpayer money. And those gas pump stickers, again that only speak of the Tory side. And those partisan press conferences ... So much for being "For the people" - the only people that Ford is interested in is himself. It's no wonder he can't balance the budget during his term in office - he's too busy spending it on his pet whims.

Well the recent Ford budget in Ontario appears to have a bent for addiction. What with the announced serving of liquor commencing at 9:00am, tailgate parties at sporting events and allowing alcohol in municipal parks, all signs would indicate a increase in alcoholism and rowdyism are being promoted by the Ford government. By a family that has been touched by addiction this direction comes as quite a surprise.
Then again, being drunk might be the only was to tolerate the Ford government. So increase the alcohol and bring on the cirrhosis.
Yep - strike three for my health.

With a little over six months now under our belts to observe what the Ford Tories are doing at Queen's Park, it should be evidently clear that they are not good for our health.
One of the first things they did was to cancel the existing cap-and-trade program that Ontario had and didn't even have a climate plan to replace it - result, increase in pollution which will impact our health - air pollution = increase lung cancer, waste in our water = e-coli infections ... Strike One!
Then, they merged a number of the health delivery units into one while reducing the health spending increases. Not sure how not having the money to provide the additional medical personnel and beds needed to handle the increasing population is going to be even possible with their reduced budgets. Strike Two!
Do they know they only get three strikes ... one more to go!
